Andy Berg has represented the 10th District on the County Board since he was first elected in April 2016. He is currently vice chairman of the board’s Legislative Committee and a member of the Human Services Committee.
Berg is a correctional sergeant at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections’ Kenosha Correctional Center, and has been a member of the Army National Guard’s 2nd Battalion, 122nd Field Artillery in Chicago since 1999. He presently holds the rank of Battalion Master Gunner. In 2008-’09, Berg served in Afghanistan.
Berg is also the founder and executive director of the Garden of Eatin’-Kenosha, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that plants, tends and harvests fruits and vegetables for local pantries and soup kitchens.
He earned a bachelor of science and a certificate of community-based learning from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
Berg lives with his wife Mercy, daughters Kaelie and Addisyn and son Toryn.
