We all have stories that help shape who we are as individuals and as a community. Kenosha Public Library wants yours. Participants will be invited to share their stories and experiences based on three prompts. These will be recorded in The Hub Digital Media Lab. Everyone is invited - what stories do you have to tell? Call 262-546-6151 to get started or request more information.
Story Prompts Include:
- Who are the women who have inspired you?
- Tell us about the first time you voted!
- How has Kenosha changed during your lifetime?

The Kenosha Literacy Council is hosting a community book discussion on "Educated," by Tara Westover. The book is a memoir looking back Westover's upbringing in a survivalist family in Idaho, where she did not set foot in a school classroom until age 17. After embracing learning, she went on to graduate magna cum laude from Brigham Young University, received a master of philosophy from Trinity College, Cambridge, England, and was a visiting fellow at Harvard University before returning to Cambridge to earn her PhD in history.
