Highway A and H intersection

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting on upcoming, Foxconn-related roadwork in the area from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at the Mount Pleasant Village Hall, 8811 Campus Drive.

Projects to be discussed include work on Kenosha County Trunk Highways A (Seventh Street) and H (88th Avenue) in the Village of Somers.

These roadways will be enhanced to handle traffic diverted from Interstate 94 when freeway construction begins.

The roads will be resurfaced within their existing footprints. Additional turning movements and temporary traffic signals will be added where Highway H intersects with highways A and KR (First Street).
