Next Tuesday, 12-22-15 at 0830 hours, Santa Claus will make a special pre-Christmas visit to the students at Frank School in the City of Kenosha. Kenosha Area Walgreens Stores have once again donated hundreds of gifts, in order to make sure that each student at Frank Elementary School (PreK – 5th Grade) gets a gift from Santa Claus.
In addition to Kenosha Walgreens Stores, Rustoleum and St. Vincent de Paul Charities have also graciously donated financial support and volunteers to this event to ensure that every child at Frank Elementary School receives a gift. The Kenosha Harborside Academy, a local Expeditionary Learning High School, will be providing Santa’s Helpers (Elves) for the day as well.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has a special relationship with the students at Frank School. Frank School is located in the neighborhood where the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department offices are. Several years ago Sheriff David Beth entered into a relationship with The Kenosha YMCA, and Frank School to form the Frank Neighborhood Project. This agency serves to meet the needs of the students of Frank School and provide additional fun events and activities for the students to get involved in. Pastor William Harris oversees the Frank Neighborhood project and Frank School Principal, Heather Connolly, is incredibly supportive of the Frank Neighborhood Project.
Several “elves” from the Sheriff’s Department will be on hand to help Santa Claus (KSD Lieutenant- Robert Croeker) distribute the gifts. The event would not be possible without the generosity of Walgreen’s, who continues to partner with the Frank Neighborhood Project to bring Santa to Frank School at Christmas time. Nearly 500 students will get the season off to a great Next Tuesday December 22nd, 2015.
