[ARCHIVED] Animal Abuse Investigation

The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has responded to a farm and cattle property located in Brighton Township, Kenosha County, regarding an alleged animal abuse complaint with confirmed deceased animals.

At this time, Sheriff David Beth has allocated several resources to the scene to investigate this incident, including the Sheriff’s Mobile Command vehicle along with specialty trained Sheriff’s Detectives and Deputies.

A large animal veterinarian has also been summoned to assist in the investigation and the care for several live animals which have also been located at the scene.

The address of this incident and owner of the property are not being released at this time as this is an active and on-going investigation.

Updates and further details on this case will continue throughout the Holiday weekend as they become available.
