[ARCHIVED] July 19 public meeting set on upcoming reconstruction of Highway C/U intersection

Upcoming improvements to the intersection of Kenosha County highways C and U will be the subject of a public information meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, at the Kenosha County Center.

Improvements to the section of Highway U (136th Avenue) just south of Highway C (Wilmot Road) are scheduled to take place beginning in August, followed by the reconstruction of the intersection highways C and U.

Through traffic will be detoured during construction, while access to local residences and businesses will be maintained.

The July 19 public information meeting will be held in an open house format, with a brief presentation to be given from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m. The Kenosha County Center is located at the corner of highways 45 and 50 in Bristol.

A meeting invitation that includes a map of the project and detour area is available here.
