[ARCHIVED] UPDATED: Sheriff's Department seeking information about suspicious death in Somers

Original Aug. 17, 2020, news release:

On August 15th, 2020 at about 8:00 P.M. Kenosha County deputies and detectives responded to the 1300 block of Sheridan Road in regards to a suspicious death investigation.

This is an active and ongoing investigation. No other information is available at this time.

Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau at 262-605-5102. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can call the Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at 262-656-7333.

Aug. 19, 2020, 9 a.m. update:

The Kenosha County Sheriff Detective Bureau is investigating this incident as a homicide. The victim has been positively identified as 70-year-old Charles E. Luitze., a resident of Kenosha, WI.

This is still an active investigation. Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau at 262-605-5102. Callers wishing to remain anonymous can call the Kenosha Area Crime Stoppers at 262-656-7333.
