Current Year Taxes

All current year tax payments and checks should be made payable and mailed to your local municipality on or before January 31 of each year.

Current year tax payments for the City of Kenosha and the Village of Pleasant Prairie must be paid to the municipality on or before July 31 of each year.

Current year tax payments for the municipalities of Brighton, Paris, Bristol, Randall, Salem, Somers, Wheatland, Paddock Lake, Silver Lake and Twin Lakes made after January 31 must be made payable and mailed to the Kenosha County Treasurer.

Prior Year Taxes

All prior-year tax payments and checks should be made payable and mailed to the Kenosha County Treasurer.

Installment Due Date Information

The City of Kenosha and Village of Pleasant Prairie have a three-installment option on current taxes. Due dates are as follows:

  • First installment or payment in full on or before January 31
  • Second installment on or before April 30
  • Third installment on or before July 31

All remaining entities in Kenosha County have a two-installment option on current taxes. Due dates are as follows:

  • First installment or payment in full to the municipality on or before January 31
  • Second installment to the Kenosha County Treasurer on or before July 31
