Conserving Trees
Kenosha County's Tree & Shrub Program has been offered for over 30 years and interest in the annual program remains strong. The purpose of the program is to encourage residents to plant native trees and shrubs for conservation and wildlife habitat improvement. A variety of evergreens, deciduous trees, and shrubs are available. Seedlings are sold through our online store on a first-come, first-served basis and paid for with a credit card at the time the order is made. Customers then pick up their orders the following spring on a designated date. An email will be sent with more information about pick-up day, typically in late April or early May, approximately 2 weeks before the event.
Interested people can sign up to receive notifications regarding future tree and shrub sales by subscribing to our email listserv at: kenoshacounty.org/list.aspx
