Program Details

The Sheriff’s Volunteers program is for civilians who would like to volunteer their services. As a Sheriff’s Volunteer, you will become an integral part of the department’s daily operations.

The Sheriff’s Department needs assistance in:

  • Assisting at Kenosha Sheriff’s Department community events
  • Filling administrative paperwork
  • Managing inventory
  • Providing building tours
  • Scanning documents

The above duties are just a few of the skills and duties constantly being sought by the department.

Sheriff’s Volunteers must pass a screening process, brief orientation and then they can serve up to 20 hours per week. Volunteers receive department credentials and a Sheriff’s Volunteer polo style shirt. Volunteers will be assigned an immediate supervisor who coordinates their schedule.
