Kenosha County Community Health Assessment
Since 2008, Kenosha County Public Health, Aurora Health Care, the Center for Urban Population Health Research, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin have collaborated to conduct a community health survey of Kenosha County residents.
The Health Department will conduct the survey every five years as statutorily required for local public health departments. The purpose of the survey is to:
- Gather data on behavioral and lifestyle habits of the adult population and household-level data
- Gather data on the prevalence of risk factors and disease conditions in the adult population
- Compare health data of residents to previous health studies
- Compare health data to national and state measurements
