Program Information
BadgerCare+ helps pay for the cost of medical care for low-income families and pregnant women. Having health insurance makes it easier for parents to create a happy and healthy family life. There are many forms of state health insurance available for the uninsured and underinsured.
Eligibility
You may be eligible for a type of health insurance if you meet certain requirements. Families at the high end of the income limit may have to pay a monthly premium or meet a deductible.
To find out if you are eligible for any of these programs, visit the "Am I Eligible?" tool at ACCESS. You may also inquire or apply in person at the Kenosha County Job Center located at 8600 Sheridan Road or the Kenosha County Center located at the corners of Highways 45 and 50.
Medicaid for Elderly, Blind & Disabled Individuals
Medicaid can help pay for the cost of medical care to qualifying elderly, blind, and disabled individuals.
