The Computer Room at the Kenosha County Job Center is the place to go for basic computer instruction. The public is welcome to develop keyboarding skills using a tutorial program. Further skill enhancement in various software programs can be obtained for a small fee. Accredited open-entry coursework involving self-paced instruction is available in Beginning Microsoft Word, Beginning Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Beginning Microsoft Windows. The Learning Center at the Kenosha County Job Center provides adult basic education services on an individual basis. Personal educational plans are developed for adults wanting to brush up on their academic skills, seeking their GED or High School Equivalency Diploma, or in need of tutoring.
In addition to self-paced computerized instruction, individual teaching support is available from the Kenosha Literacy Council and Gateway Technical College staff.
