The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Program is administered under the Department of Planning and Development. Its primary purpose is to respond to the mapping and spatial analysis needs of the Department as well as various other County Departments and municipalities.

The principal activities of the GIS program are:

    1. Develop, build and maintain a database of geographically referenced datasets and their characteristics;
    2. Create maps and derive statistics from the database;
    3. Perform technical geographic analyses using the database;
    4. Train County staff in using GIS technology

Interactive Mapping

The Kenosha County interactive mapping application serves various types of mapping data to allow for the creation of customized maps.   The maps are viewable using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. To enter the interactive mapping application, click here.
