Homestead Opportunity Loan Program

No-interest (0%), deferred payment loans to low- and moderate-income renters for the purchase of a home.
Properties must be in Kenosha County, outside of the City of Kenosha.
Eligible use of funds:
- 50% of the downpayment (the maximum downpayment assistance is 10% of the purchase price of the home)
- Payment of bank fees and closing costs
- Rehabilitation of a property when the lender agrees to credit the increase in the property’s value towards the required downpayment
