Program Services - Wisconsin Works (W-2)

Photo: KCJC General Reception Wisconsin Works (W-2) is available to eligible low-income parents whose minor, dependent children live with them. W-2 provides a wide range of employment services and training to help eligible Wisconsin residents obtain and keep employment. Each W-2 participant will meet with a Financial and Employment Planner who will help set up an employability plan and determine what types of services the person needs to succeed in finding and keeping a job. Under W-2, there is a place for everyone who is willing to work. Individuals will be placed at a work or work training level that fits closest with their abilities and in some cases receive a monthly payment for their participation in the program. To find out if you are eligible for Wisconsin Works, you must apply in person at the Kenosha County Job Center located at 8600 Sheridan Road.
