Whatever your goal - picnicking, swimming, cross-country skiing, golfing, hiking, sledding, cycling, wildflowers or simply finding a quiet reprieve from your concerns of the day - discover the pleasures and rewards of a Wisconsin getaway in Kenosha County parks.
Kenosha County provides over 1500 acres of managed recreational land at seven parks conveniently located throughout the county. The park division also maintains 14 miles of cycling trails. Special arrangements with the Kenosha Historical Society and the Kemper Center expand the scope of recreational opportunities available to you in Southeastern Wisconsin.
With the arrival of each season, the enjoyments of Kenosha County parks await you. From the lush greens and colorful flowers of summer to the crisp blue skies and white snow of winter, the sights and sounds of people enjoying the out-of-doors will be the background setting for your Wisconsin getaway in Kenosha County!
Kenosha County is celebrating its 90th Birthday since the inception of the Kenosha County Park Commision in 1927. To celebrate this milestone, the Park Division will be hosting live music, food, interactive family activities and fireworks. Please see "90th Anniversary Details" in the right column for more information regarding this highly anticipated event.
